Plumpio

A safe family messenger built for kids 4–10.

Stickers, voice notes, and pictures kids can use before they can read — with the privacy and oversight a grown-up wants.

What Plumpio is

Plumpio is a family-only messenger. A grown-up creates the account, invites the people the family already trusts, and the children in the family can chat with them — and only them.

Kids send stickers, voice notes, pictures, and short calls. The interface is built so a four-year-old can use it before they can spell their own name.

Who it's for

Plumpio is for families with kids aged 4 to 10. A grown-up creates and manages the account.

  • Parents
  • The other parent
  • Grandparents
  • Aunts, uncles, and cousins
  • Family friends a grown-up has approved
  • The children in the family

Built for the trust a family needs

  • End-to-end encrypted

Messages, voice notes, and pictures are encrypted from the sender to the recipient. We never see what your family sends.

  • No phone numbers

Kids do not need a phone number, an email, or any social-media account. Connections are made through a link a grown-up shares.

  • EU-based and GDPR-aligned

Plumpio is built in the EU under GDPR, with parental consent required on every account before a child can use the service.

  • Parents stay in charge

A grown-up picks the contacts, sets bedtime, sees activity, and can step in any time. Children never act on their own.

A peek inside

  • A child chat screen showing a row of large stickers above a hold-to-talk voice button.
  • A parent dashboard listing the children in the family alongside their approved contacts.
  • A connection-request card a grown-up reviews before adding a new contact.
